01Who we are

Six Sides (“Six Sides”, “we”, “us”) is the AI division of Hexagon Consultancy Services (HCS). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit sixsides.ai, contact us, or try one of our AI demos (together, the “Services”).

For the personal data described here, Six Sides is the data controller. When we build or run AI systems for a client under a contract, we process that client’s data on their instructions as a processor, and the client’s own privacy notice and our agreement with them apply instead of this policy.

02Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact and enquiry details: your name, email address, phone number, company, the service and industry you are interested in, your budget range and your message.
• AI demo inputs: text prompts, voice recordings, uploaded documents, images and files you submit to a demo, and the responses generated.
• Account details: if you sign in to a demo or dashboard, your name, email address and the sign-in provider you use.
• Communications: emails, meeting notes and other correspondence with our team.

Information collected automatically

• Usage and device data: pages viewed, referring site, approximate location derived from IP address, browser, device type and the time of your visit.
• Cookies and similar technologies: see Cookies and analytics below.

We do not knowingly ask for special category data (such as health information) through the website. Please do not submit it to public demos.

03How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry, schedule calls and prepare proposals.
• To run the AI demos you use and return the results you request.
• To provide, secure and troubleshoot the website, and to prevent abuse and fraud.
• To understand how the website is used so we can improve content and performance.
• To send you occasional updates about our services where you have asked for them or where the law allows. You can opt out at any time.
• To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.

We do not use your demo inputs to train AI models. They are processed only to produce the output you asked for.

04Legal bases for processing

Where data protection laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply, we rely on:

• Contract: to take steps you request before entering into an agreement with us.
• Legitimate interests: to respond to business enquiries, operate and secure the Services, and understand website usage, balanced against your rights.
• Consent: for non-essential cookies and marketing, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Legal obligation: where we must keep or disclose information by law.

05How we share information

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with:

• Service providers who host the website, deliver email, provide analytics, and supply AI, speech-to-text and text-to-speech models that power our demos. They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
• Hexagon Consultancy Services, our parent company, to deliver and support engagements.
• Authorities and advisers when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of Six Sides, our users or others.
• A successor business in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

06Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies to keep the site working and to keep you signed in. We also use Google Analytics to understand traffic in aggregate, such as which pages are popular and how visitors arrive. Google may process this data as described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking essential cookies may stop some features from working.

07International transfers

Six Sides operates in the United States and India, and our service providers may process data in other countries. When personal data moves across borders, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where the law requires them.

08Data retention

• Enquiries and correspondence: up to 3 years after our last contact, unless we start working together.
• Client engagement records: for the length of the contract plus the period required by law.
• Demo inputs and outputs: only as long as needed to provide the result and investigate abuse, and no longer than 90 days.
• Analytics data: up to 14 months.

When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

09Security

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls and least-privilege access, to protect personal data. Client engagements follow HIPAA, GDPR and SOC 2 practices as applicable. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it;
• correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
• delete your data;
• restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.

California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know, delete and correct personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. Residents of India have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

To make a request, email info@sixsides.ai with the subject “Privacy request”. We will confirm your identity and respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

11Children's privacy

The Services are for businesses and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

12Third-party links

Our website links to other sites, such as LinkedIn and partner platforms. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. If the changes are significant, we will give a more prominent notice.
